Rudolph (the red nosed reindeer)

We think the British Charts had not properly started when Reg 
was born.  We found out that Rudolph was the best selling song 
in 1949 so have presumed it was selling well when Reg was
born (just before Christmas).

Had a very shiny nose

All of the other reindeer
Used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph
Play in any reindeer games

Then one foggy Christmas Eve
Santa came to say

Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?

Then all the reindeer loved him
And they shouted out with glee
